Fruits and seeds as symbols for the moment of transition

Poppy

I used the beautiful poppy, symbol for temporary sleep or anaesthesia, as a model for an urn.

It is an ingenious masterpiece of nature, a true example of natural architecture.

When the seed has ripened, the segments in the top dry up and then open.

Everytime a breath of wind shakes the plant, seeds will be projected far away.
